VP – Leasing & Brokerage Services

Stout & Teague is seeking an experienced real estate professional to lead our leasing and brokerage services. Stout & Teague is a well-regarded commercial management, leasing and development firm with a portfolio of over 800,000 sf of office space in Washington DC and Virginia and Maryland suburbs. The leasing and management portfolio includes
company-owned and client properties. Office buildings are principal focus, with some assignments for retail, flex, and warehouse properties. The company also undertakes leasing and sales brokerage assignments and advisory work for properties of all types and invests in value-add opportunities in the Washington Metropolitan region.

Responsibilities will include:

Manage the marketing strategy of properties, engage with brokers and tenant prospects, and prepare proposal letters
for prospects.
Supervise leasing agents and leasing support staff.
Seek out and undertake new tenant/buyer representation assignments.
Prospect for new client listings, advisory work, and management assignments.
Monitor market activity and maintain contact with real estate brokerage community.
Negotiate lease, sales and acquisition terms based on deal analysis.
Oversee the preparation of marketing materials and programs.
Work with property owners and tenant clients on marketing plans and deal structuring.
Work with space planners and architects to develop leasing plans and preliminary test fits.
Work with asset management, property management and accounting staff to provide budgeting and financial analysis at
the deal and property level.

Knowledge of commercial lease and sales contract provisions
Expertise in financial analysis and financial structures.

Real Estate Salesperson or Broker licenses in DC and Virginia is required, with ability to obtain license in Maryland in the future. Candidate will work directly with principals of the firm and a seasoned management team.

Compensation structure: salary plus commission splits; potential participation in company-sponsored deals
