Allison Dunn Wilson, LEED AP, is a driven leader responsible for the profitable growth of the Johnson Controls Energy Performance Contracting business in the Mid-Atlantic states of the US. Her role of Area General Manager includes executing strategies focused on ensuring year on year growth in the following areas: market share, sales, revenue, cash flow, profitability, and operational excellence. This growth is driven by developing and coaching high performing engineering, operations, and sales teams.
Allison’s resume includes over 20 years of engineering, operations, business development, and general management experience both domestically and internationally with Johnson Controls (JCI). She has held key leadership positions, including Systems Branch Manager and Sales Manager (Miami), Director of Strategic Global Accounts (North America, Latin America, Middle East), and Account Executive/Major Projects (Philadelphia). She is the Executive Sponsor of Synergy, a business resource group at JCI focused on developing millennial employees early in their career.
She was honored as Most Inclusive General Manager for Minority Business in 2017 by Maryland Washington Minority Companies Association (MWMCA). Allison is a member of the 2018 Class of Leadership Maryland.
Allison earned an MBA from Johns Hopkins University as well as a BS Civil Engineering degree from Morgan State University. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and the Morgan State University Foundation Board. She began The Shelia R. Dunn Endowed Scholarship Fund at Morgan State University and hosts the Shelia R. Dunn Education Foundation – Annual Back to School Drive honoring her late mother, a lifelong educator.
Allison lives in Bowie, MD with her husband Damon and their son Dylan. Anyone who knows Allison will know that she loves to travel and run half-marathons!
